About MoneyMindTool
Free, accurate, India-specific financial calculators — built and verified by people who read the rules so you don't have to.
Who we are
MoneyMindTool is a free financial-calculator platform operated by DigiCreature Technologies, based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Since 2025 we have built 35+ calculators covering income tax, mutual fund SIPs, loan EMIs, fixed deposits, PPF, NPS, gratuity, HRA and more — every one tailored to Indian rules and updated for FY 2026-27.
Our audience is Indian salaried professionals, freelancers, investors and families making real money decisions. Because those decisions matter, we treat accuracy as the product — not an afterthought.
Beyond calculators, DigiCreature Technologies also offers professional website development services — from single-page sites to full e-commerce stores — built with the same performance and SEO standards that power MoneyMindTool.
Our editorial standards
Every calculator on MoneyMindTool follows the same process before it goes live and each time the law changes:
- Sourced from the primary authority. Rates, slabs, limits and formulas come from official Indian government sources (listed below), never from second-hand summaries.
- Formula-verified. Each calculation is checked against the published formula and cross-checked with worked examples. Where two conventions exist (for example, how an annual return is converted to monthly for SIPs), we state which one we use and why.
- Dated and re-reviewed. Every page shows when it was last updated. When a rate, slab or rule changes, we revise the tool and the supporting content, and refresh the date.
- Transparent about limits. Our tools give estimates based on your inputs and standard formulas. They do not replace personalised advice from a qualified professional — and we say so in our disclaimer.
How we build and test a calculator
- Identify the governing rule and the exact formula from the source authority.
- Implement it, then validate against hand-worked examples and, where available, the authority's own illustrations.
- Write plain-English guidance, FAQs and worked examples alongside the tool.
- Re-test on every rate or rule change and update the "last updated" date.
Official sources we rely on
Our numbers trace back to primary Indian government and regulatory sources:
- Income Tax Department of India (CBDT) — tax slabs, deductions, TDS and capital-gains rules.
- Reserve Bank of India (RBI) — repo rate, lending benchmarks and banking guidelines.
- Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) — EPF and pension rules.
- Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) — mutual fund and market regulations.
- National Savings Institute — PPF, SSY and small-savings interest rates.
- Goods and Services Tax Portal — GST rates, slabs and late-fee rules.
The team behind the tools
A small team of finance writers and reviewers at DigiCreature Technologies who track Indian tax and investment rules, build the calculators, and keep every tool current for the running financial year.
